While in Utah, we were able to spend some time with my family. It was quite convenient that Grandma Choate has a house in Utah now - 30 minutes from the airport. Big perk in my book. And despite some flight mix-ups, Grandpa Choate was able to make it out for part of the trip. It was nice to be able to escape the cold of Alaska to even colder temperatures in Utah. :)

| Grandma took us on the Polar Express! Grandpa's flight got cancelled that day and he couldn't make it in time. We took Uncle Brantley instead. He was a trooper to sit for 90 minutes in a train with no leg room, a poopy toddler, and lots of screaming children. |
