Christmas and Rosenvall Time in Utah

We spent Christmas Eve and Day with the Rosenvalls in Gunnison.  There is something kind of special about having 4 generations in one room to celebrate.  However, I don't think I'll ever forget what Grandma Jean said about how "big" Christmas is these days.  She said how when she was a little girl, there were 4 presents around the tree. One for each kid in her family. It's just not like that anymore.  Not that it's bad to have more than one present. It's just different. And a good reminder that Christmas isn't about the presents. Nonetheless, the kids had a fun time opening presents. But their favorite part of our trip was so many people to play with them. Best present of all for my kids!

Singing/Dancing Santa - sing into the microphone and he moves his mouth. Clark, who is ALWAYS singing, was in heaven.
Alex got in on the action too!
Playing with Uncle Erick before he became a married man

Great-Grandma Jean
We got to play with this cutie that we never get to see!

Watched 800 episodes of Wonder Pets

It ain't Christmas without a train!

Clark got in some quality time with the puppy Sammy.
Santa is REALLY lame when families are in other states for Christmas. This year he only brought a dumb DVD. Obviously Clark doesn't care.  He loves him some shows!
Sad he has to wait for everyone to wake up...
Grandpa Clyde and Grandma Jean
Thumb sucking, softy/blankie loving brothers

It's too bad we were missing the Howell family, but it was fun to have all of the Rosenvall brothers together before Erick got married. The day after Christmas we all headed out to California for the wedding!
